Power, Corruption & Lies 40th Anniversary. Graphic
In 1983, designer Peter Saville created the iconic cover for New Order's Power Corruption & Lies album, taking a photograph of a postcard from the National Gallery in London. For the art direction of the 40th anniversary album, the idea was to reimagine the cover's origin, using the original cover itself as a postcard, closing the cycle. A nod to the fans that seeks to celebrate the 40th anniversary.
